Hi everyone!
Here is a comprehensive list of the questions presented to me at the
February 2009 Northeast District Meeting and their answers. The list of
subjects was varied and it took a while to make it through all the
appropriate staff at corporate. Special thanks to Pamm Schroeder and
Sharon Rice with the coordination of Tawana Collins and David Lee to put
this all together.
We will review this at the June District Meeting but please feel free to
send me any questions, comments you may have as you have them. I will
answer them or find out more for you.
I hope that these advance communications are of value to you and free up
our time at the next District Meeting to concentrate on critical issues
to support each of you in conducting the business of your chapter.
Chapters are the essence of APICS and the only face that most of our
customers see. You all are on the front lines and we on the board and
district staff are here to serve you.

Hi everyone!
Here is a summary of what transpired at the APICS Board of Directors’
Meeting in April 2009. I am forwarding this summary in advance for your
review to keep you informed on a timely basis. APICS is moving faster
than it has in the past and I want to make sure you have the latest
information at your fingertips.
We will review this at the June District Meeting but please feel free to
send me any questions, comments you may have as you have them. I will
answer them or find out more for you.
On another note, soon you will also be getting a pdf on the questions
you presented me at our February District meeting. I apologize for the
delay – the questions were so varied [which is great!] that I had to go
to many different sources to get the answers.

Aberdeen Research
Aberdeen Vault Access Update
For nearly two years, APICS members have
enjoyed free access to the Aberdeen Research Vault. Unfortunately,
Aberdeen has discontinued this program and it will be concluding on June
30, 2009. Aberdeen is offering APICS members a one time opportunity to
extend their vault registration. Before June 30, 2009, APICS members must
enroll or renew their account with Aberdeen to continue to access the
vault at no charge. Once registration or re-enrollment is complete,
complimentary access will continue for a one year period from the
registration or re-enrollment date. After July 1, 2009, APICS members who
were not previously enrolled will be able to access the vault at a special
