WHAT ARE THE KEY ASPECTS OF A SUCCESFUL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETING?
Lisa Ross, an active member, will share success stories and ideas that
will spark excitement for your chapter’s PDM activities.
She will also discuss the key elements of planning, marketing, and
executing an APICS PDM. We encourage you and your
entire Board of Directors to attend this informative event and create some
'Buzz' for the new APICS season.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Lisa Ross comes from the Northeast and has been an active member of APICS
since 1986. She was a member of Champlain
Valley from 1986-1991 and was part of Region 1 (Lisa Simms). She has held
every chapter position, including Chapter President
for Champlain Valley in Burlington, Vermont and Chapter President of the
Triangle Chapter in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She was the APICS Regional Vice President for North Carolina, South
Carolina, and Virginia; and also the Chair of the 2006 Governance
Committee.
During her term on the APICS Board of Directors, Lisa was an instrumental
part of the Chapter Development Committee (CDC) and Chair of the CBAR
Committee.
Currently, she is the Treasurer of the Triangle Chapter. Lisa is a Train
the Trainer (TTT) and Learning Dynamic (LDI) recognized Master Instructor.
Her most recent role was as the 2010 APICS International Conference Chair.
Lisa Ross is a dynamic speaker who has provided a variety of APICS
presentations. Lisa is married to Marty Ross and has two sons; Jared,
twelve and Jack Nelson, seven. In her spare time, she volunteers at the
PTA and enjoys quilting and crafting.
