Student Case Study Competition

PURPOSE
The Student Case Competition is designed to encourage Student Chapter involvement in District and Professional Chapter activities, allow students to compare their education with that of other students, test their classroom education and its usefulness in solving real-world situations, and to heighten the importance of APICS involvement (as a college student and as a professional) now and in the future.

SCC Rules
Affiliated Student Chapters are allowed more than one team however each team is only allowed one entry, and it can not exceed 3 pages of text (min. 12 pt. type) and 2 pages of visuals.

All PowerPoint/Word/Excel Presentations must also be submitted and should be on a CD or Memory Stick ready for use.

Student Chapters may have 2 to 12 Student Members participate on the case. The use of reference books and computers is acceptable, but students must furnish their own.

First and Second place winning teams will be invited to attend and compete in a Student Case Competition at the 2008 Conference in Kansas City. Details and Registration information will be distributed to the winning teams. Each team for the Conference Competition will only be allowed 6 team members.

Chapter Support
Every Student Chapter that participates will get a monetary award. Therefore, it is imperative that we have the support of each Professional Chapter from any District participating.
